Built once. Built right.

The last grill you will ever buy.

Most grills are disposable. Thin steel warps, rusts through, and burns out in a few seasons, and you buy another, and another. The SM60XLDX is the end of that. Fabricated from 1/4 inch American plate with a 60 by 30 inch cooking surface and powder-coated iron cross, it is built to take fire every weekend for the rest of your life and still be standing for the next pair of hands. You will not replace it. You will hand it down.

What separates ours
Cast iron chrome crank wheelCast iron and chrome-plated for a substantial, finished control point you use every cook. Built to match the weight and construction of the grill.
1/4 inch plate throughoutQuarter-inch American plate is standard construction, not an upgrade. The added mass provides structure, heat retention, and durability through repeated live-fire cooking.
Heavy-duty hardware throughout4-inch bullet hinges, 1/2-inch rod spring handles, expanded-metal shelves, and hardware selected around the weight and demands of the completed cooker.
Built out from the startShelves, hanging hooks, fire-management tools, iron cross, and the core cooking systems are included in the XLDX configuration. You are buying a complete cooker, not a stripped platform that needs to be built back up with basic accessories.
Mortared firebrick constructionThe cooking chamber is lined with firebrick set in refractory cement, not simply laid loose. The finished installation keeps the brick secured in place and helps prevent water, grease, and debris from passing through open joints.
The off-road package

A different machine underneath.

This is not a wheel swap. The off-road build runs five four-bolt hubs, heavy bracing, and a proper axle, with the fabrication to carry a fully loaded grill across grass, gravel, and dirt, not just a patio. Choose your wheel finish, solid black, chrome, and more, confirmed before your build starts.

Built to roll anywhere you cook.
American steel

The weight is the lifetime.

Every SM60XLDX is cut, tabbed, and welded by hand on Long Island from 1/4 inch American plate. Built one at a time, not mass produced. The mass you feel when you move it contributes to heat stability, structural rigidity, and the durability required for repeated live-fire cooking.

Argentine tradition. American fabrication. Forged for a lifetime of fire.
